About the Exhibit:
Fullerton College is proud to present A Hero’s Journey, an exhibition of artworks from award winning visual artist and animator Armand Serrano. Serrano is a world-renowned production designer and 2D/3D animator with a career span of more than 30 years. He is known for his work at companies such as Walt Disney Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, Sony Pictures Animation and more. His animation and artistic practice demonstrates his diverse skill as an animator, and his exploration into the story of good and evil.
A Hero’s Journey is an exhibition which highlights and celebrates Serrano’s long career of exploring the road of good and evil and the development of a hero through visual art and animation. The show will feature prints from the artist’s drawings from films such as Lilo and Stitch, Raya, Mulan, and more, along with his VR production. Through his practice, Armand highlights the obstacles, victories, and evolution one must face to become an actualized version of self.
