THEA 151 F Properties: Design and Construction

Production and Design


This course introduces the student to the processes and skill-sets that are used on a daily basis in the world of stage properties. This course involves the study and execution of property construction, research methods, upholstery, molding and casting, as well as the creation of stage food, animals and stage weaponry. This course is also intended to orient students to the aspects of properties as they relate to a properties master and a properties artisan. 36 hours lecture and 54 hours lab per term.
